It seeks to increase the number of students who become interested and fully participate in productive research experiences in biomedical sciences encouraging them to continue doctoral degrees and postdoctoral experiences.
Maximizing Access to Research Careers
The MARC Program for undergraduate students is a research training program sponsored by the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS); its main goal is to increase the amount of Puertorrican students and other minority groups that pursue graduate studies leading to a PhD in Biomedical Sciences.
